Join Us At Push For The Bush

Push For The Bush has started a new blog which I have been asked to contribute to and edit.

Due to time constraints and a growing lack of megabytes I've reluctantly decided to say goodbye to Bundarrah Days at Blog Spirit.

However, Push For The Bush will include everything you've been accustomed to reading here and more.

I hope you decide to join us there and contribute to our efforts to build a powerful rural network.

I'll see you there: http://www.pushforthebush.blogspot.com

This is sad news. Bundarrah Days has been a beacon for rural residents worldwide.

More than that, BD has been a work of art. Phil, you have painted a masterpiece with words, pictures, and music.

The political stuff is important, but the solutions lie in reconnecting with the land. BD has been a symphony about reconnection.

Phil, you have presented yourself as an example and guide for others. Your's will be a hard act to follow, however, because you have done it so well and set the bar so high.

Best wishes on your new adventures, and thanks for everything.

PS -- You don't need to kill it. You could let BD linger, like a museum piece, and maybe even revive it someday.

Thanks Mike. Those comments are truly appreciated.

I'll be leaving BD here and maybe it can be revived one day, hopefully.

Meanwhile, I find it impossible to run the farm, update the blog and cope with the Push For The Bush work (not just the blog) all at the same time.

Push For The Bush will essentially be Bundarrah Days in a new guise but if we're going to have any success it will have to come under the banner of an organised network.

Our push is going to be for rural autonomy.

The comments you've made here apply equally to SOS Forests. I think we need cooperation on an international scale because we all face the same problems and the same enemy. For that reason I'd like to see you at Push For The Bush and try and contribute more to SOS.

That should be possible with the creation of a network of accomplished contributors.

We had some good news last week.... Australia's leading bushfire expert, Dr Phil Cheney, has joined us so we're winning some credibility as bush activists.

We've made a start and now we have to get on with it. See you at Push For The Bush.
